Experience all the awesomeness of 29ers: they hold their speed well and roll over rough terrain easier. Trek's X-Caliber 5 sports Trek's nimble Gold Series aluminum frame with a 100mm-travel suspension fork, perfect for smoothing out the trails and keeping you in control. Shifting is smooth and quiet with a genuine Shimano 24-speed drivetrain, and slowing down is deliberate, confident and easy with the Tektro disc brakes. And you'll love the comfy, supportive Bontrager seat and the reliable stem, bars, and seatpost.

Trek's G2 Geometry (version 2 of Gary Fisher's Genesis Geometry) delivers the ultimate ride for every trail. Genesis earned rave reviews for awesome handling on climbs and descents thanks to a long top tube paired with a short stem that moves the front wheel forward for top-notch confidence and control, while short chainstays add phenomenal traction. G2 Geometry takes these handling traits to the next level by boosting control on tight singletrack and technical climbs, too. This is accomplished by increasing the amount of fork offset (reducing trail), which makes G2 bikes steer more quickly, and by shortening the reach, which puts more weight on the front wheel for even better control and confidence. The two animations above showcase how G2 Geometry provides the perfect ride.

    Comments:

I had a lot of bikes in a past and all of them suffered from tire flat issue, poor quality etc. And to be honest I'm an very heavy guy. Almost 6 ft and 270 lbs. And this beast handles me very nice and never had an issue with it. It is a very good quality product and deserves 20 out of 10 stars! :) I would recommend this bike for almost everyone including heavy people such as me.
