Speed and endurance come together beautifully aboard Trek's Silque S. Making it happen are race-winning Trek technologies like IsoSpeed, women's geometry, and of course, Trek's renowned OCLV carbon. Carbon also compromises the unique IsoSpeed fork for perfect handling everywhere. The Silque rolls on quality components including an easy-shifting Shimano drivetrain with compact cranks for easier climbing, tubeless-ready wheels, a carbon seatpost and a supportive women's saddle. Uncompromisingly fast, confidently stable, sublimely comfortable, the Silque masters long, epic rides with ease while delivering unrivaled speed and comfort over the roughest roads that dare to challenge you.

Silque IsoSpeed Decoupler Silque 3S chain-keeper
The IsoSpeed Decoupler allows the seat tube to rotate independently from the top-tube-to-seatstay junction, increasing vertical compliance without compromising pedaling efficiency. It's already been proven with wins in races over the toughest cobbles in Europe.  The 3S chain-keeper is integrated directly into the frame. It's an elegant solution that prevents the chain coming off on rough roads and under hard shifts. It lets you make any shift you want at any time without worrying.
Silque internal cable routing Silque E2 front end
The Silque's internal cable routing offers precision shifting and positive braking in all conditions. It's also aerodynamic, compatibile with modern drivetrains, and it protects the cables to reduce wear and tear and maintenance. The E2 head tube tapers from 1 1/2 to 1-1/8 inch and is wider side to side than front to back. This minimizes weight, maximizes power transfer and improves cornering. Result: a more powerful and confident ride.

Trek's BB90
Trek's Silque features a unique bottom bracket that's 90mm wide (traditional ones are 68mm wide). This wide bottom bracket lets Trek build the frame with larger tubes for increased power transfer. Plus, the BB90 is machined so that the bearings can be placed directly into the frame—saving weight due to fewer parts, ensuring additional pedaling efficiency, and simplifying maintenance and repair.

Tapered head tube and fork. For increased stiffness and improved steering precision, tapered head tubes (see image, on left) and forks pair an oversize lower steerer tube (usually 1 1/2 inch, see image, on right) with a standard diameter upper steerer tube (usually 1 1/8 inch). This combination sheds weight compared to straight 1 1/2-inch systems, and adds stability and stiffness when compared to straight 1 1/8-inch systems. The result is a bike that tracks better through corners while allowing for the use of standard stems.

Comments:

This bike is responsive and smooth. My rides involve a lot of hills and it is lightweight and responsive enough to let me crest them without stopping. The geometry is interesting and makes for a more comfortable ride on the longer distances. My only complaint is the stock saddle, which I quickly switched out. I love this bike
