Trek's Remedy 9.9 29er rewards the rider that wants to tame rowdy terrain with speed and grace. Advanced technology makes this enduro sled climb faster, descend more confidently, and simply crush all kinds of terrain. The carbon frame sports Trek's ABP and Full Floater suspension tech for sniper-like precision, heaps of traction, and corner slashing prowess. Suspension duties are expertly handled by the 140mm Pike RCT3 leading the charge, with a Float DRCV ReActiv out back controlling a matching 140mm. The gearing spins SRAM's brilliant XX1 1x11 setup while XTR Trail discs put the clamps down on speed. Your landing gear consists of SRAM Roam wheels with a Boost 148 rear hub. They're wider and stiffer, making 29er wheels corner and handle just as quick as any wheel out there. Add in a Reverb Stealth dropper post, a carbon bar, and a ti-railed seat and whatever you want to call it, enduro, all-mountain, or trail, the Remedy rewards.

For a clean dropper post setup, Trek uses RockShox’s Reverb Stealth dropper seatpost and internal frame routing. The housing runs inside the frame for a clean look and zero hose issues as the saddle moves up and down.

Trek's Full Floater shock mount boasts two separate linkages that allow the shock to float through its range of action for seemingly bottomless travel and excellent tracking over every type of terrain.
Trek's EVO link
Trek's EVO rocker link is a one-piece, forged-magnesium linkage that drastically increases rear-end stiffness and decreases total frame weight, too.
Trek's E2 head tube is 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom and 1 1/8 inches at the top. This maximizes front-end stiffness for awesome steering precision and control, while allowing the use of standard 1 1/8-inch stems and not adding much weight.
Trek's G2 Geometry (version 2 of Gary Fisher's Genesis Geometry) delivers the ultimate ride for every trail. Genesis earned rave reviews for awesome handling on climbs and descents thanks to a long top tube paired with a short stem that moves the front wheel forward for top-notch confidence and control, while short chainstays add phenomenal traction. G2 Geometry takes these handling traits to the next level by boosting control on tight singletrack and technical climbs, too. This is accomplished by increasing the amount of fork offset (reducing trail), which makes G2 bikes steer more quickly, and by shortening the reach, which puts more weight on the front wheel for even better control and confidence. The two animations above showcase how G2 Geometry provides the perfect ride.
