Trek's Remedy 9 27.5 gives you the stability of a 29er, with the flickability, strength, and acceleration of a 26 incher. All fun, zero compromise. Doing a fast XC ride? Take the Remedy. Pinning a shuttle run? Remedy. Doing a 8-hour backcountry epic? Remedy again. This aluminum rig rocks 140mm of travel from a RockShox Pike up front, and a Fox Float RE:aktiv in back, which pedal efficiently yet have no problem smashing the big hits. Helping you get to the top is a slick 11-speed SRAM X1 group. The wheels are tubeless-ready Bontragers, while your braking is handled by the supremely powerful XT discs enhanced by Trek's ABP rear end, which keeps the rear wheel tracking over hits even with a handful of rear brake. Add in a Reverb dropper post and a slew of Bonty gear, and from the deep forests of Vancouver, to the red rocks of Sedona, to your favorite trail, this is your Remedy.

Trek’s premium lightweight aluminum is continuously cold extruded and butted at multiple points for ultimate weight reduction and superior strength. Frames built with Trek’s Alpha Platinum aluminum are hydroformed to create the most sophisticated shapes for the lightest weight, and are finished using their smooth-weld process.

Trek's EVO link
Trek's EVO rocker link is a one-piece, forged-magnesium linkage that drastically increases rear-end stiffness and decreases total frame weight, too.
Trek's E2 head tube is 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom and 1 1/8 inches at the top. This maximizes front-end stiffness for awesome steering precision and control, while allowing the use of standard 1 1/8-inch stems and not adding much weight.

For a clean dropper post setup, Trek uses RockShox’s Reverb Stealth dropper seatpost and internal frame routing. The housing runs inside the frame for a clean look and zero hose issues as the saddle moves up and down.

For every full-suspension mountain bike that they sell, Trek donates $10 to the IMBA to help build new trails. Join the IMBA today!
