I have been riding this bike for three years now. Is it comfortable? Yes. I often ride 70 miles or so at a stretch. Is it fast? It will go as fast as I can pedal it. That's all I can get out of it. Is it responsive? Quite. I have no complaints, and neither do the four other riders I ride with that are on Tarmacs.
