Comments:

Good bike for the $ for an just a little bit above entry level bike. Will work for cross country and a little harder terrain biking.... IT does hold up in places like Alifia, however it will wear out as time goes on. I would of liked a better shock and it is not upgradeable to disk brakes without changing the rims, etc.... It has a nice frame and hold up to my hard riding style...but for me I took it to the next level on older components, tires I own- XTR upgrades..... brakes, shifters, derailers, crank..Now I have a bike I can work with.. Love the frame color..... needs a better seat and handle bar.. But for the weekend worrior...this is a good bike to use.. I like it and it has a nice style look to it....

The raleigh 3.0 talusis the best all around bike i have ever had. My friend and I went to a local bike shop, and i ended up buying this bike and took it up to a pretty advanced trail here in [...] and i was very impressed. it handled rocks, jumps, dirt, amd anything i threw at it like a champ. my friend owns a treck and is going to trade it in for this. This bike is so light and shifts quick and smooth to climb up anything.

I just got back into the sport. Dont bother with the talus 2.0. With 30 or 40 more dollars will get you double wall rims, and better Components! Most bike I looked at with these components where over $400.

I love to ride at Dryer Road park which is up hill and down hill and this bike is the best for both. Its brakes stop you no matter what terrain you are on. The shocks are really good and allow you to ride bumpy terrain easyily.
