Haro’s Shift R3 is a ready-to-rip trail rig with the specs to perform and a design that exceeds expectations. Its hydroformed aluminum frame mates a 4-bar linkage with a RockShox Monarch R shock to deliver 125mm of supple rear end travel, and invites a RockShox Recon fork with its 120mm of air-sprung trail mastery up front to join the party. Its 27.5-inch wheels and Honey Badger tires love to fly over obstacles and can still dance between them. Uphill and downhill will blur into a single, seamless flow thanks to the 2x10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, while the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes keep you railing the line you scoped from the top, even in heinous conditions. Get serious about the way you play on Haro’s Shift R3.

Comments:

The frame's great! In stock form, the bike was a bit on the heavy side for a 4.5-inch travel bike. I practically replaced/upgraded nearly every component to lose some weight. But the frame is really good and is well worth the parts upgrade. My best upgrade was replacing the stock RockShox Bar 2.1 shock with a Fox Float R. I also recommend replacing the fork with one that has rebound adjustment, like I did. Now my Haro Shift R3 really rocks! Get the R7 to avoid having to upgrade the parts later. BTW, it's a beauty.

Comments:

I just bought my 2007 Haro Shift R3 and it is great. I bike in town along the Trinity trails and at the local mountain trails and the bike is great!! I handles like a charm. If you don't have a lot of money to spend, this one gets you alot of bang for your buck.
