The XDURO FullSeven Carbon 8.0 brings together the best of Haibike's high-tech designs to create a top-tier pedal-assist full-suspension e-bike. A Bosch Performance CX 350-watt motor provides the extra push to help you go farther, while the stiff and lightweight carbon frame transfers power efficiently for a responsive ride. Suspension control is provided by a RockShox SID RL fork and Float DPS Factory SV rear shock, giving the Mavic 27.5-inch wheels outstanding traction over rough terrain. Shifting duty is controlled by SRAM's solid-performing 11-speed XO1 drivetrain, and Magura MT5 hydraulic disc brakes paired with extra-large rotors provide confident stopping power for maximum control at speed. And, for keeping track of your ride as well as vital bike stats, the Bosch Intuvia handlebar-mounted display is a quick glance away.

Conventional eBike motors sit low in the frame and run the risk of being damaged by strikes to the underside of your bike. in 2012 Haibike introduced the SkidPlate, a simple protective element that effectively protects the motor.

The centerpiece of the frame: the motor interface. At this connection point many important functions come together: the engine mount, swing arm, and shock mounts, and the battery and downtube connection. The more stable the interface is, the more stable the entire frame is.

To reduce the visual "weight, " Haibike sinks the Bosch battery slightly into the downtube. Thanks to the combination of hydroformed tubes and special castings, welds and inaccurate attachment points are eliminated. This technique also reduces the distance between the motor and battery by 11mm.

Bosch motors have significantly smaller sprockets compared to classical chainrings and rotate 2.5 times faster than the revolution of the crank. This causes fewer teeth to transmit more force.  Almost every XDURO comes with a specially developed Haibike sprocket. Each sprocket is milled out of a solid block by a computer-controlled milling machine (CNC). The special shape of the teeth ensures 100% contact to the chain, guaranteeing a long life for both the chain and the sprocket. Together with the integrated chainring guide on the sprocket and the chain guard on the pulley wheel, chain jack is nearly impossible.

On XDURO carbon frames every frame component (except for the SkidPlate) is made out of carbon. Each piece is handmade so the carbon fibers are aligned parallel via a specified plan that follows the subsequent stress directions (unidirectional laminate). This concept allows Haibike to exploit the tensile strength of the carbon fibers to create areas with particularly high stiffness and others with more flex. The result is a heavy-duty frame that converts every ounce of energy into propulsion. The low frame weights significantly reduce the total weight of the bikes.

The motor is directly screwed to the carbon frame, without using additional adapters. Haibike consciously avoided metal cores in the interface, resulting is a mount that optimally transmits force into the frame, reducing the weight and the space required, while increasing both stability and precision.

Both the front and rear light are designed to be positioned extremely close to the frame so they visually become part of it. Lights may be upgraded individually or as a set on any XDURO eBike.

The motor is the technological core and defining characteristic of an eBike. Thanks to Haibike's Gravity Casting motor interfaces, they can integrate the motor in a compact manner without separate mounting plates. This concept reduces the space required to mount the motor and decreases the visual volume of the engine.

The Bosch Performance CX has been specially optimized for sporty use. The motor delivers a constant maximum torque of up to 75 Nm up even to a high speed range. The motor offers an impressive maximum torque of 75 Nm. The “Direct Flow” technique also guarantees powerful support in the lower cadence levels. Trail Control offers a dynamic power management system that allows the rider to choose the optimum support level (50-300%) for the terrain they are riding, their riding style, and the distance they are looking to cover. “Shift detection” protects your chain by cutting off the torque from the motor during shifting for smooth gear changes.

The Intuvia display tells the rider: actual, average and maximum speed, day trip and total distance, the time, trip time and total operating time of the bike, and motor performance. The remote control is located on the left of the handlebars and all display features and support modes can be selected safely while driving without taking your hands off the handlebars. The stable display base ensures a secure fit even under tough conditions. An accurate range indicator displays how far the current charge level will last in mileage. From the remote, the five support modes (Off, Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo) can be selected or walk-assist can be activated. Display functions can be accessed even when removed from the bike. A micro-USB connector allows you to charge a navigation system, mobile phone, or MP3 player.
