        Comments:

This seatpost came stock on my Gary Fisher Superfly, every time you hit a bump with weight on the saddle, the seatpost clamp pops and the seat immediately makes you think you will never bear children. After repeated attempts to tighten the bolt enough to hold seat in place (way beyond normal torque), I have given up and will purchase an Eastern or Thomson seatpost.

          Comments:

You can spend a ton on a carbon post these days only to find the clamp doesn't work well or it is fragile. This post offers gee-whiz carbon looks and vibration damping while remaining exceptionally durable because of the reinforcing rib (I'll let the shop explain exactly what it looks like, I only know it works). Also, Bontrager's infinitely adjustable head is ingenious and a snap to get your saddle tilt just right.
